The Eureka Repository is closing down and will not be available after the end of 2020. All publications from current Faculty have now been migrated to Symplectic Elements. See the Sainsbury Library Blog for more information. ×

Copyright Information

Before making the full text available through Eureka it is essential that you check the agreement that you have with your publisher. Publishing agreements often assign ownership of copyright to the publisher. However many publishers will now allow authors the right to make their publications available in an institutional repository in their author created, post-refereed version rather than the publisher's own PDF. However, you may find that your publisher has imposed an embargo period (e.g. 6 months) before your material can be made available on the repository.

The Sherpa Romeo website provides a list of those publishers that allow their PDFs to be used in repositories.

If you are in any doubt as to whether you have permission to submit the full text of your material in Eureka please contact the Sainsbury Library and we will investigate this for you.

The submission of your material to Eureka will not affect your intellectual property rights and Eureka will only make the material freely available in its original format.
